Situated in the beautiful county of Northumberland, the Marleycote herd is one of the UK's leading breeders of Ayrshires and Shorthorns.

Stock are always available, and many individuals have gone on to do well for their new owners.

Our cattle have also done well in the show ring,
where we have achieved championships over the years at
The Dairy Event, The Royal Highland Show and The Great Yorkshire Show among others.

We have 15 EX and nearly 50 VG cattle in the herd.

Our milk is now marketed from the farm under the
Northumbrian Pedigree brand.

The day to day management of the herd is carried out by Richard Baynes, assisted by father David and Lewis Short, while brother Paul runs the milk processing business
